Perth Harmony slapped on their learner plates once again at the weekend as they took to the risers for coaching. The chorus was delighted to welcome back Jen Howson – a chorus favourite!

Jen’s expertise as a choreographer and coach has positioned her as a valued member of Sweet Adelines Australia’s Regional Education Faculty. She is one of the talented bunch of educators who travel throughout the region supporting barbershoppers who want to perform at their very best. Jen also performs with Vocalescence on the Gold Coast in Queensland and with her quartet, Wildfire.

Perth Harmony are continuing to make preparations for convention, as well as working towards a number of performances in the second half of the year, international competition in Las Vegas in October – and beyond! Jen challenged us to re-think the contribution we are each making to the chorus’s performance, to embody our characters before we step on to the stage and to embrace personal choreo moves! She also dared us to up the intensity of every rehearsal.
